Everyone’s favorite star … is the star! SpongeBob SquarePants’ best friend, Patrick Star, is getting his own fun new video game. Outright Games’ The Patrick Star Game launches this Oct. 4 and features a single-player sandbox environment for kids to explore.
Players will take on the role of Patrick as they take on missions from SpongeBob, Mr. Krabs, Sandy Cheeks, and Plankton. Kids can explore Bikini Bottom as a sandbox environment with its own physics system. If they find themselves wanting a fresh look for their pink friend, kids can complete tasks and collect jars of mayonnaise to unlock new outfits.
Developed by PHL Collective and published by Outright Games, the game features the original voice cast of SpongeBob SquarePants, including Tom Kenny as SpongeBob, Rodger Bumpass as Squidward, Clancy Brown as Mr. Krabs, and more.
The Patrick Star Game launches Oct. 4 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam. Little fans of Patrick and his antics can finally see their favorite SpongeBob SquarePants character get the spotlight!
