Tune in to PBS KIDS this July for some civic-themed content, starring big names from show business and more! 

Two new programs will teach kids valuable lessons about being an active member of the community and about the function of government in everyday life. The first is Together We Can, which will feature 20 music videos sung by kids with special appearances by celebrities like Hamilton star Christopher Jackson, Hoda Kotb of theToday Show, and Christian Slater of Mr. Robot.

The second show to introduce important themes to kids is the second season of City Island, an animated show from Abbott Elementary’s Kimia Behpoornia and Orange Is The New Black’s Kimiko Glenn. City Island will broach topics such as news media, fact-based reporting, advertising, and the internet, while also featuring new guest stars like Vanessa Bayer and Rosie Perez. 


The first batch of Together We Can music videos releases July 3 and the second batch on Aug. 7. Season 2 of City Island premieres July 5. Stream the programs on PBS KIDS to let the educational fun begin!
