Back-to-school season is upon us and there’s no time like the present to give thanks to your favorite teachers.
The Play-Doh brand is partnering with Save the Children and actress Eva Longoria for the Cans of Kindness campaign. The global initiative aims to put the spotlight on teachers who have gone above and beyond to uplift, inspire, and encourage kids.
If you have someone who comes to mind, you can nominate them by sharing personal stories and tagging #CansofKindness on social media. Hasbro will award one teacher in each participating market with a year’s worth of Play-Doh compound for their classroom to help spark imaginative play and creativity with their students.
Eva Longoria kicked off the program on her own social channels by giving thanks to her mother and sister, who are both teachers who work hard to make a difference in their students’ lives.
Families can also spread Cans of Kindness to friends or classmates by purchasing the new Play-Doh Split and Share pack, which includes an assortment of six Play-Doh compounds. All winners will be selected by Sept. 16, also known as World Play-Doh Day.
