Ripple is changing the tide of card games. Blue Wasatch Games — makers of Bamboozled, Clash of Cards, and Rank — has released a new card game inspired by the classic card game, Golf. Ripple’s simple rules and beach-themed cards make the game a fun and summery option for both kids and adults.
In this game, 2-6 players can compete in “building their beaches” by matching, stacking, and collecting combos of the card’s patterns — which include waves, octopuses, sandcastles, sailboats, beach balls, crabs, pineapples, and fish. The object of the game is to keep the lowest score after three rounds.
The game is recommended for kids ages 8 and up to learn, play, and have fun. While gameplay takes about 15 minutes, the course of the game changes each time it is played. Additionally, once players have mastered the standard rules, there are options and strategies detailed in the rule book that can enhance gameplay to keep Ripple fresh and exciting.
The game is available for purchase on bluewasatch.com or Amazon for $9.99.
