That’s one small step for a dog, one giant leap for dogkind.
Snoopy, the beloved Peanuts character, is no stranger to taking to the sky as the pilot Flying Ace in his battles with the Red Baron. The character has now reached new heights as a plush astronaut donning an orange spacesuit as part of NASA’s Artemis 1 mission on Nov. 16.
Now back on Earth, Snoopy is still offering content for kids that want to learn more about space. Snoopy in Space is an Apple TV+ series offering all sorts of outer space adventures with everyone’s favorite Peanuts characters. Snoopy and Woodstock venture into space within the series to spotlight some of NASA’s newest research, with ground support at the Johnson Space Center from Charlie Brown, Franklin, Linus, Marcie, and the rest of the Peanuts cast.
In the animated series, Snoopy is on the hunt for aliens, but will also learn about the newest developments in the world of space science, such as traces of ice on Mars and finding exoplanets beyond our solar system.
