WildBrain’s new CG-animated web series, Strawberry Shortcake’s Bake Shop, will premiere Oct. 16 on the official Strawberry Shortcake channel on YouTube. The series premieres with two episodes; the full 26-episode season, featuring eight new songs, will roll out over the following year.
The new series takes fans to Berryville, where Strawberry Shortcake lives with her cat Custard in her iconic strawberry-shaped home. With her signature bonnet and curly red locks, Strawberry Shortcake returns in a CG-animated world that gives the beloved character a fresh new look.
In Strawberry Shortcake’s Bake Shop, the neighborhood bakery is open, and Strawberry Shortcake’s Berry Besties are always stopping by. They might be there to lend a helping hand, grab a snack, or spend time together. When she’s not baking up sweet treats in her kitchen and bake shop, Strawberry Shortcake may be hosting friends in her upstairs apartment or throwing a garden party.
Designed for kids ages 4 and up, the series is filled with baking, friendship, kindness, and a few frosting fumbles. The new episodes are part of a new chapter for Strawberry Shortcake, bringing the beloved character to a new generation through content, consumer products, and live experiences for the whole family.
