After the massive global success of PAW Patrol: The Movie, the heroic rescue dogs are returning to the big screen for an adventurous sequel!
Spin Master Entertainment, Paramount Pictures, and Nickelodeon Movies have revealed the first new star voice talent for the upcoming PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie cast. Taraji P. Henson, known for her roles as Belle Bottom in Minions: The Rise of Gru and Katherine Johnson in Hidden Figures, is lending her voice to the film. The details of her character are being kept under wraps for now. The studio is also working with returning voice talent from the first film and will reveal additional new cast members soon.
In PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie, a magical meteor crash lands in Adventure City, giving the rescue pups superpowers and transforming them into the Mighty Pups. Then, the pups’ archrival Humdinger breaks out of jail to team up with Victoria Vance, a meteor-obsessed mad scientist, to steal the pups’ superpowers and turn themselves into supervillains. The Mighty Pups need to work together to save Adventure City from the supervillains before it is too late, and Skye will learn that even as the smallest member of the team, she can make a big difference.
PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie will release exclusively in theaters on Oct. 13 next year.
