Care Bears are bringing holiday cheer to New York City!Â
Six characters will gather this Saturday, Nov. 7, at Rockefeller Center’s Meet the Tree Holiday Workshop for the brand’s largest character appearance at a single event. Families can also visit a dedicated Care Bears Christmas Shop opening that day at FAO Schwarz, which will remain open through Jan. 10, 2027.
At Rockefeller Center, the Holiday Workshop will celebrate care, kindness, and community with activities for families. Guests can share Christmas wishes at The Caring Tree, write holiday letters, and snap festive photos. At the Care-A-Lot Craft Corner, kids can make friendship bracelets, bag charms, and holiday ornaments, then collect stamps in a Care-A-Lot Passport as they explore. The fun continues at the Top of the Rock Observation Deck with Care Bears giveaways and additional holiday surprises.
A short walk away, the Care Bears Christmas Shop at FAO Schwarz will bring together collaborative products from other brands, including Aurora, The Woobles, Kurt Adler, ZURU, Londontown, Goliath, TinBox, Overlord, Pop Mart, Bakery Bling, Pipsticks, and Birdie Bean. Families can find plush toys, collectible figures, holiday ornaments, craft kits, accessories, and matching family sleepwear.
The shop will also have two FAO Schwarz holiday exclusives: Rainbow High Dolls x Care Bears and Care Bears Hyojo collectibles. Care Bears will also bring its colorful characters to the store’s holiday windows.
The celebration marks the beginning of Care Bears‘ countdown to its 45th anniversary in 2027. The milestone year will include the return of the Care Bear Cousins from the Forest of Feelings and new collaborations with beloved characters and brands.
