Finally, families can find the droids they’re looking for by planning a trip to The Franklin Institute. In February 2027, young Jedis can discover a galaxy of stories at Star Wars: The Experience – A Journey Through the Galaxy.
Visitors can enter the space to see immersive environments, iconic props, and original costumes from the Star Wars universe. From A New Hope to The Mandalorian and Grogu, the exhibition spotlights the cinematic journey at The Franklin Institute in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Families can also enjoy the experience later on during its five-year North American tour.

The 18,000-square-foot exhibition features large immersive moments, screen-used artifacts, and RFID-powered experiences. Showcasing more than 70 artifacts, this exhibit offers fans a closer look at legendary items, including Darth Maul’s lightsaber hilt and Darth Vader’s menacing armor. Not to mention, the experience features fan-favorite creatures such as Grogu, R2-D2, and C-3PO.
Star Wars: The Experience – A Journey Through the Galaxy will launch presale tickets this October for The Franklin Institute Members. Tickets for the public go on sale this November. Families can learn more about ticket presale access and receive updates about the experience at thefranklininstitute.com.
