As a kid who never did get her dream gift of an electric-powered ride-on, I jumped at the chance to test drive Razor USA’s PowerRider 360. This classic-style three-wheeler powers up at the push of a button, and reaches a top speed of 9 mph. I was able to cruise, speed, and drift my heart out thanks to the high-performance dual-inclined rear caster wheels. I definitely got a lot of second looks and side-eyed glances from the good people of Manhattan as I cruised along the sidewalk in front of the Fashion Institute of Technology on Seventh Ave.
The Razor PowerRider 360 is FUN, and any kid would be thrilled to ride it. I recommend using it in a traffic-free paved area, such as an outdoor basketball court or a large patio. Honestly, I could have driven this thing all day, drifting and spinning, except for the looks I was getting from FIT’s security officer. I don’t doubt that kids will want to ride it for the full 30 to 40 minutes before it’s ready for its next charge.
With a push-button throttle and sn easy-to-use hand brake, it’s very easy to get started. A simple pull of the steering wheel in one direction or the other will have kids spinning and drifting in no time.
The Razor PowerRider 360 is recommended for kids ages 8 and up, and supports up to 120 pounds. (Yes, I weigh more than that and it ran just fine, thank you very much.) I am 5’ 10” and was able to fit onto it somewhat comfortably, but if I look a little crunched, it’s because I am taller than your average tween. Assembly is relatively easy for one adult.
