The Mattel brand is bringing even more for kids with the opening of a new flagship store in Los Angeles’ Westfield Century City. The store will officially open its doors this Saturday to American Girl fans everywhere.
The new store will have American Girl’s signature dolls, accessories, clothes, and books. But this new location isn’t just a shopping experience. The two-level store also has the American Girl Cafe, offering brunch, lunch, and teatime seatings. The cafe has private room options for celebrating birthdays and other special occasions as well as a Berry Bar bringing sweet treats for guests.
Once they’re full of good food, kids can head to the Dolled Up Salon to match their favorite doll with hairstyles, mini manicures, and even ear-piercing options. The salon services both dolls and kids, and takes reservations in advance with special packages that allow for personalization.
The new American Girl store location is opening this Saturday, Sep. 9, at 10 a.m. Pacific Time. The Los Angeles store can be found in the ever-popular shopping destination, Westfield Century City. Guests that visit during grand opening weekend will have the chance to participate in giveaways with goodies like American Girl posters and books.
