Hey! What a wonderful kind of day!

The Arthur Podcast is getting a second season and the premiere date is right around the corner on March 16. Fans can look forward to six new episodes featuring the adventures of Arthur, his sister DW, and his friends Buster and Francine. GBH Kids and Gen-Z Media first launched the podcast in October. The second season was announced at SXSW EDU during an Arthur panel this week.

The podcast retells stories from episodes of the PBS TV series in an audio format. A new episode of the second season will drop each week on Thursday, starting with “Arthur’s Pet Business,” following Arthur as he tries to prove that he’s responsible enough to take care of a puppy. For Earth Day, the podcast will feature a “Speak Up, Francine!” episode, in which a polluted creek in Elwood City inspires Francine to let people know about how important it is to care of the environment.
