Barbie looks good in any outfit — even dressed as a furry animal!

Mattel first launched Barbie Cutie Reveals last year, featuring Barbie dolls dressed in animal costumes with matching mini pets and stylish accessories. The line has since expanded several times to include fantasy animals (think: unicorns) and winter animals like snowy owls and polar bears. The newest series is jungle-themed, featuring Barbie dolls dressed as elephants, tigers, toucans, and monkeys.

Recommended for kids ages 3 and up, each Barbie Cutie Reveal Jungle Series doll comes with 10 surprises inside the capsule. The packaging has a photo of the animal-themed doll inside, so shoppers will know exactly which style they are buying rather than a complete mystery. Kids can remove the plush animal costume to reveal a poseable Barbie doll with long, colorful hair and twinkle-shine shapes on the face.

Some of the surprise accessories include sunglasses, a skirt or shorts for the doll, a sponge-comb, and a mini pet that matches the doll’s costume. Kids can reverse the plush top into a fleece jacket and flip the costume animal head into a pet bed. There is a color-reveal feature as well: When kids apply ice-cold water to the doll and mini pet, it will give them color-change transformations, like paint on Barbie’s face and “opening and closing” the mini pets eyes, while warm water changes them back for repeat play.

Each doll is sold separately, available at major retailers for $24.99 each.

BARBIE CUTIE REVEAL JUNGLE SERIES

Kids can unbox 10 surprises with each Barbie Cutie Reveal Jungle Series doll. They can discover a charming Elephant, a lovable Tiger, a bright Toucan, or a cheeky Monkey, then remove the plush costume to reveal a poseable Barbie doll with long, colorful hair.
