It’s the stuff of playdate dreams!
This August, Disney Junior will hold a three-day celebration at Disney California Adventure filled with photo ops, sweet treats, and themed activities.
Beginning Aug. 18, the Anaheim, California-based celebration begins with a Playdate Party Parade, where kids can expect to see a procession of beloved Disney Junior characters, including Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Doc McStuffins, Sofia the First, Elena of Avalor, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Vampirina, Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Goofy, Pluto and Mira, and Royal Detective.
Stage shows will also pop up on Aug. 18, while the “Alice’s Wonderland Bakery Unbirthday Party” will give kids a chance to decorate curious and curiouser cupcakes.
For a budget-friendly option, this playdate will continue from Aug. 19-20 in the Downtown Disney District with free admission. Among the activities in the Downtown Disney District? A Spidey and His Amazing Friends limited time photo shoot, a Playdate Play Zone, and a Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures photo wall will all be waiting for Disney Junior fanatics!
A find-and-seek activity with clues spread throughout Disney California Adventure and the Downtown Disney District will also run for the entire three-day event.
Meanwhile, specialty treats, like a Honey Pot Caramel Apple, Tigger Marshmallow Tail, and specialty cotton candy will also serve to satiate parents and kids alike.
