It’s officially time to add Fairylandia to your vacation destination list this summer! DreamWorks Animation and the Association of Children’s Museums are teaming up to host Gabby’s Dollhouse MEOWseum Discovery Days for the second time.
Beginning next month, 64 museums throughout the country, including Discovery Children’s Museum in Las Vegas, Nevada, and Discovery Place Science in Charlotte, North Carolina, will bring Gabby’s Dollhouse’s magical land of Fairylandia to life. The MEOWseum will include a dance party hosted by DJ Catnip, a meet-and-greet with Gabby herself, a “Find the Gabby Cat” scavenger hunt, storytime sessions, and more. The specific number of activities will depend on the location.
The length of each MEOWseum takeover is also unique to the host museums. While some locations will run the Fairylandia exhibit for a few days, others will dedicate several days in a row to Gabby’s Dollhouse fans. At some locations, including Kids Discovery Station in Merced, California, and Keystone Kidspace in York, Pennsylvania, Gabby’s Dollhouse is taking over for two successive weekends. These locations will feature a large themed photo opportunity for visitors of all ages!
If you weren’t one of the 56,000 people who attended the attraction across 44 museums last year, you have another chance! With 20 additional museums hosting Gabby and her cat-friends this year, Fairylandia could be closer than you expect. Don’t miss out!
