Scoop Up Summer Fun with Melissa & Doug’s Van Leeuwen Playsets

National Ice Cream Month is almost here, and imagination is on the menu. Just in time for the July celebration, Melissa & Doug is teaming up with Van Leeuwen to create new playsets that add a sprinkle of sweetness to summer fun. 

The limited-edition playsets invite kids to step behind the counter of the cult-classic scoop shop and dream up their own delicious adventures. Kids can serve up colorful stacks of wooden scoops in cones or cups and decorate their desserts with an assortment of toppings. As they play, kids can strengthen their fine motor skills, explore their imagination, and even practice counting and math with the pretend money. Families can either bring home the full 29-piece counter for $64.99 or smaller, grab-and-go scoop packs for $12.99 each. 

As the cherry on top, each playset includes a special coin that families can exchange for a free, real-world scoop of ice cream at their local Van Leeuwen. Select scoop shops will also feature a limited-edition Melissa & Doug-inspired flavor: Berry Good Imagination. To get a taste, fans can visit participating Van Leeuwen locations in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania throughout July.
