🎵 Look at this stuff! Isn’t it neat? Wouldn’t you think my collection’s complete? 🎵

Mattel is completing doll collections with a new mermaid doll representing Ariel from Disney’s live-action take on The Little Mermaid. The film is hitting theaters this May with actress Halle Bailey playing Ariel.

The Little Mermaid Ariel Doll features an aqua and purple color palette that captures the mermaid’s look from the film, with long, red hair that kids can style. It also has an ombre mermaid tail with a glitter fin and is poseable so kids can role-play and act out their favorite movie moments. Ariel cannot stand on her own (she is a mermaid, after all!).

Bailey gave fans a first look on her Instagram yesterday, pointing out some of the details and writing in the caption, “the little girl in me is pinching herself right now.”

The Little Mermaid Ariel Doll will be available to preorder starting today and will be available at retailers nationwide this spring for only $14.99. Disney is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year and the Ariel doll makes a special appearance in a new Disney100 campaign, The Wonder of Play, that launches today.
