There are a lot of different ways to use chalk, but not a lot of ways to interact with it — until now!

Horizon Group USA created Chalk Alive to bring sidewalk sketches to smartphone screens for a dynamic playtime experience. Kids ages 5 and up can use vibrant chalks and reusable stencils to compose their colorful creations. They can draw up 12 characters, such as mermaids and unicorns, and scan their drawings with the free Chalk Alive smartphone app. Kids can then watch as their scribbles become animated in a 4D, interactive art world!

Chalk Alive comes in kits of six-, 18-, or 45-piece chalk accompanying three, eight, or 12 stencils, respectively. Each character shows off its unique personality with customized animation and interactions through on-screen prompts. Kids can feed their hungry dinosaurs and lions or watch their mermaids dive into the family pool, all while taking a photo or video of the action.
