Kids already love KiwiCo’s projects, with their subscription boxes of art and science kits keeping things fun and keeping kids thinking creatively. Now, KiwiCo has invited three little innovators to step up with some big ideas and take part in the new Innovators of Awesome game show. The new series has kids solving challenges and building giant versions of KiwiCo products.
The series’ first episode introduces the kids and has them diffusing a slime bomb by building a giant arcade claw, based on the Kiwi Crate Arcade Claw and Slime Circuits. The second brings them back to create giant mechanical sweepers inspired by the Kiwi Crate Mechanical Sweeper.
In the third episode, the kids participate in a rocket launch egg drop challenge, inspired by the Tinker Crate Bottle Rocket. Finally, the series wraps things up with giant chain reaction machines, a challenge based on the newest crate from the company.
KiwiCo offers more than 2,000 projects designed for kids ages 0-36 months (the Panda Crate) to kids ages 12 and up (the Eureka Crate). The first three episodes of the new Innovators of Awesome game show are available to watch on the official YouTube channel. The series’ winner will get to design their own KiwiCo crate as well as a $25,000 scholarship.
