Just Salad, a counter-service chain that specializes in healthy food and sustainable options, is adding a Sesame Streetthemed kids menu!

Just Salad’s collaboration with Sesame Street marks its first-ever kids menu, available for kids ages 12 and under. The menu items have fun Sesame Street-inspired names and options that even picky eaters will enjoy.

Since Just Salad aims to incorporate healthy eating and sustainable living into its customers’ lives, adding a kid’s menu that features nutritious food just makes sense. Showcasing familiar faces and names, such as Cookie Monster and Elmo, might make it easier for kids to eat food they might view as boring.

Kids can choose from six different options, including four meals and two smoothies. The “Happy to be Harvest” salad includes romaine lettuce, apples, croutons, cheddar, and roasted chicken; and “Me Want Caesar” is an ode to Cookie Monster and includes romaine lettuce and kale, roasted chicken, croutons, dried cranberries, and apples.

The last two meal options are the “Om Nom Nom Bowl,” a bowl with brown rice, carrots, corn, roasted chicken, and avocado, and “Elmo’s Avocado Toast,” which includes avocado mash and corn on toast.

If it’s easier to get your kid to eat some fruit in the form of a smoothie, there are two options on the new kids menu for them to try. The “Ah Ah Almond Berry Smoothie” has an oat milk base mixed with bananas, almond butter, blueberries, strawberries, flax seed, and organic agave. The second smoothie, “B is for Banana Smoothie,” also has an oat milk base but is slightly simpler, including only bananas, strawberries, flax seed, and organic agave.

Just Salad has locations in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Illinois, Florida, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and Dubai.

The menu is now available in-store, so you won’t able to order it online quite yet. Just make sure your kid knows that all of these menu items are Cookie Monster-approved!
