Remember the gh’oul times when we could go out trick-or-treating on Halloween night?
Kids may not be able to collect their candy in person as families continue social distancing, but they can still make fun plans for Oct. 31. Kids’ musician Laurie Berkner is throwing two virtual “Halloween Party” family concerts, complete with a digital lobby featuring preshow music and videos, Halloween games, and pumpkin coloring pages.
Families are encouraged to put up their spooky decorations at home, dress up in their finest costumes, and bring along their instruments/noisemakers and a Halloween-themed stuffed animal — like cats, bats, or friendly monsters — to bring along to the show. Berkner will sing her new songs, “What Am I Gonna Be (for Halloween)?” and “The Superhero Mask Song,” as well as fan favorites, such as “Bumblebee (Buzz Buzz),” “When I Woke Up Today,” and “Pig On Her Head.”
The live performances will take place at noon and 5:00 p.m. ET, on Saturday, Oct. 31, with the virtual doors opening an hour prior to each performance for the preshow festivities. A limited number of virtual meet and greet packages are available. Visit laurieberkner.com for tickets.
