LEGO has ventured into the world of video games many times before, but not like this.
The LEGO Group and Epic Games are bringing a new world to Fortnite with LEGO Fortnite, a new survival crafting game that kids will be able to open up and play right inside the Fortnite game that they already have downloaded onto their devices.
In LEGO Fortnite, players can explore open worlds where LEGO building and Fortnite gameplay come together. Along with the launch, players can also get LEGO versions of some of their favorite skins, with more than 1,200 skins now featuring LEGO alternatives. The LEGO version of each skin comes with the purchase of the original skin, so players may already have some LEGO looks in their lockers.
LEGO Fortnite is rated E10+ and will launch inside the Fortnite game starting Thursday, Dec. 7.
