Add the latest Disney and Pixar movie to your collection as Luca heads to digital, 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD on Aug. 3 with some fun bonus content.
Luca is a coming-of-age story set in a seaside town on the Italian Riviera, where a young boy experiences an unforgettable summer. Luca shares his adventures with his friend Alberto, but their fun is threatened by a deep secret: They’re sea monsters from a world below the water’s surface.
The new bonus features include a look at the Italian inspiration for the film as Pixar artists travel to Cinque Terre, Italy; insight into the artistry of Luca’s transformation from sea monster to human and how the theme of transformation play into the characters’ emotional journey; and stories from the cast and crew about how best friends influence their lives and the friendships between Luca, Alberto, and Giulia. Deleted scenes will include two alternate openings, the boys attending the Festa Del Mare festival filled with fun and danger, Giulia exploring Isola Del Mare, Giulia offering to treat Luca and Alberto to gelato, and Luca dreaming about a magical place filled with Vespas and gelato.
In addition to the digital and DVD releases, fans can also check out a ton of new toys, books, and merch based on the sea monster and their friends.
