It’s almost May, which means Mental Health Awareness Month is right around the corner. This year, MESH Helps is inviting families to celebrate all month long with edu-taining events as part of its new campaign, Play for Reislience.

The Play for Resilience initiative aims to meet families where they’re at by blending mental health awareness into the spaces where communities already gather and connect. These activities and events encourage families to come together and have fun while highlighting how everyday play can help kids develop key Mental, Emotional, and Social Health (MESH) skills that will last a lifetime.

The month-long event will kick off at Chuck E. Cheese locations across the U.S. from May 1 through May 8. At more than 450 participating locations, families can experience new activities, video content, and educational resources that encourage coping skills, confidence, communication, and emotional understanding through play.

Afterward, throughout the rest of the month, families can visit nearly 300 local libraries to learn more about youth mental health and discover resources and tools to help support their kids’ growth every step of the way. Each event will feature a range of MESH-Accredited toys and games for families to play together, including Rush Hour, Zingo!, and Puzzle Up from Ravensburger; Friends & Neighbors and The How I Survived Game from MindWare; and additional fan-favorites from MAGNA-TILES, Pennycake, Connetix, and Blue Marble.
