Zola Williams plays a powerful woman as a member of the Dora Milaje in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), but her most recent project is a kids book that features two cats, Mimzy and Misty.
Mimzy and Misty the Terrible Two is a picture book that follows two kitties who cause lots of mischief in their neighborhood. The two cats are inspired by Williams’ cats in real life.
The two kitties aren’t like normal cats. Mimzy and Misty leave chaos and laughter wherever they go and keep the folks who live in their community on their toes. However, the two cats are not all trouble as the story also dives into the meaning of friendship, understanding, and community.
“Mimzy and Misty teach us that things aren’t always as they seem, and to never judge a book by its cover,” Williams says. “We’re all here on this planet to take care of one another, just as Mimzy and Misty teach in this story.”
