My Little Pony fans need to hold their horses before galloping into any plans this week — they’re in for a treat that will keep them saddled up and cozy at home!
On Nov 23, Hasbro Entertainment’s animated series My Little Pony: Make Your Mark returns to Netflix for Chapter 6, which includes three new 22-minute episodes and a Secrets of Starlight special.
The series looks into an assortment of sentimental and hilarious day-to-day quests of ponies Sunny, Hitch, Izzy, Pipp, Zipp, and Misty.
In Chapter 6, the show will focus on villain Opaline’s wrath after she learned Misty, her adoptive daughter, sabotaged her in order to save Sparky, the baby dragon who she originally kidnapped — or “dragonnapped” — for Opaline at the end of Chapter 5.
But now, Opaline plans to steal more than just a little green dragon. She wants to take all the Cutie Marks of every pony in the land of Equestria. As the Mane 6 ponies work to stop her and save their friends, they find the power in their friendship is essential in order to not be overpowered.
The special episode, “Secrets of Starlight,” will give viewers a special look into the new realm called Starlight Ridge that appears in the climatic series finale. This world is filled with crystal snow, a starry sky, and winter foliage, as well as the Auroricorns, who invite the ponies to join them for a series of fun winter activities called “Starshine Time.”
But viewers will be on the edge of their seats when a mysterious snow leopard named Allura seems to have them on the Mane 6’s new friends under her control.
