Nintendo has a ton of new games available for download or coming soon! 

The Nintendo eShop is chock-full of exciting new games and upcoming releases for the Nintendo Switch or mobile devices. Check out some highlights below to expand your family’s game collection! 

Nintendo Switch players should check out the Metroid Prime Remastered game to complete scary challenges on an alien planet with the new, modern dual-stick controls that allow players to move separately while changing their perspective. Metroid Prime Remastered is available now for $39.99. 

Animal lovers will enjoy Blanc, the heartwarming story of a wolf cub and a fawn lost in a snowstorm. Players must guide themselves through the harsh environment. The game releases on Feb. 14 for $14.99.

If players want to continue their gameplay adventures, Nintendo Switch offers DLC (paid downloadable content) for certain games. The Fire Emblem Engage Expansion Pass adds new Emblems and introduces new characters, including Hector, Emblem of Strength; and Soren, Emblem of Acumen. The game comes in Waves 1 and 2, which are now available. Other waves will release by the end of the year. 

The Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Expansion Pass unlocks special abilities and new outfits for the main characters. Vol. 3 of this expansion launches on Feb. 15, with four total volumes released by the end of the year. Inkopolis Plaza has never been seen the way it appears in the Splatoon 3: Expansion Pass. This game will also release in several waves starting this spring.

For $99.98, members of Nintendo Switch Online can receive exclusive game vouchers to save on digital games. The voucher catalog includes fan favorites such as Splatoon 3, Pokémon Scarlet, Pokémon Violet, and many more. Members can also preorder The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. If you want full access to the Nintendo Switch Online library, sign up for a Nintendo Switch Online membership. This exciting program offers games for Game Boy, Game Boy Pocket, or Game Boy Color. This includes beloved classics like Tetris, Super Mario Land 2 — 6 Golden Coins, The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening DX, Gargoyle’s Quest, Game & Watch Gallery 3, Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare, Metroid II — Return of Samus, Wario Land 3, and Kirby’s Dream Land.

The Nintendo eShop also offers a variety of games with demos so that players can test them before they purchase! Follow the adorable pink puff Kirby across Planet Popstar in Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe, out now. Journey with eight new travelers in Octopath Traveler II before its Feb. 24 release, or harness the power of the sun and moon in Sea of Stars before its Aug. 29 release.

Players using iPhones and iPads can purchase the new Mario Kart course, Piranha Plant Cove. The game places Peach or the new drivers, Light-Blue Shy Guy and Yellow Shy Guy, in underwater temples and mysterious caves. The Exploration Tour runs until Feb. 21.
