Consider this your reminder that Mother’s Day is this weekend!
The Peanuts squad is getting together to celebrate all kinds of parents in a new special, To Mom (and Dad), with Love, produced for Apple TV+ by Peanuts and WildBrain. The original special is based on the classic Peanuts comic strip by Charles M. Schulz, with appearances from some of the classic characters we all know and love.
In the animated special, the kids are feeling excited to celebrate Mother’s Day, except for Peppermint Patty, who is reminded that she didn’t grow up with a mom. Her friend Marcie helps her see that families come in all shapes and sizes, and that Mother’s Day is an opportunity to appreciate the special people in your life who mean the most to you. No Peanuts story is complete without Snoopy, who tags along on adventure as Woodstock tries to find his long-lost mom.
