Peppa Pig Wedding Week is coming, and with it a pair of firework-worthy guest stars!
The three-part program will welcome real-life power couple Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom to the Peppa Pig cast. Perry will lend her golden pipes to the character Ms. Leopard, a dress maker, while Bloom will voice the jeweler Mr. Raccoon. The special will feature the first wedding ever featured on Peppa Pig, and is a part of the larger celebration of Peppa Pig‘s 20th anniversary.
“Peppa is so relatable and warm, and her stories teach lessons of good values and integrity that I am modeling for my daughter,” Perry says. “It feels like a warm cup of tea all the time! How could I say no? Peppa is an icon, and I thought I should give my KatyCats the collab they’ve been asking for!”
Bloom adds: “The fact that I get to be Mr. Raccoon and I can run around the kitchen pretending to be Mr. Raccoon when she’s watching it, she will just be so delighted.”
Kids and KatyCats alike won’t have to wait much longer for the special wedding episodes, which air at 9:00 AM EST/PST from March 25-28 on Nickelodeon and Paramount+.
