MGA Entertainment‘s most trendy fashion darlings are expanding their adventures to Netflix with a worldwide streaming launch.
Based on the popular fashion doll line, the Rainbow High animated series follows the first-year fashion school students as they learn the lessons of G.L.A.M (Grit, Love, Action, and Moxie). The show is set around Ruby Anderson, Poppy Rowan, Sunny Madison, Jade Hunter, Skyler Bradshaw, and Violet Willow as they find themselves through an elite fashion and fine arts high school. Each episode will teach kids to embrace their passions and celebrate their individuality with a colorful, dream-like animation style.
The show premiered initially on YouTube last October, with each video getting 1-6 million views. While the YouTube episodes are five minutes long, the first eight episodes launched all together as a special, 42-minute feature on Netflix.
