“Spookley Season” isn’t just for Halloween!

Spookley the Square Pumpkin had a busy October full of product launches and hundreds of Halloween-themed events across the country. Not only did he release a new book and music video, but he also had a line of plush by GUND, a new Tonie figure that quickly sold out, and an appearance on shelves for the first time at Target. However, the holiday icon is far from done. Spookley’s home, Holiday Hill Farm, has announced new content launches and events for kids to engage with their favorite cubic gourd throughout the entire winter holiday season.

First, Spookley will star in a new animated music video entitled “Be Thankful – Be Grateful.” Produced by the team behind Spookley animated movies, the video features a new song from author/creator Joe Troiano about the many things to be thankful for every day of the year. The video complements Holiday Hill Farm’s 2012 book, Spookley the Square Pumpkin, a Family to Be Thankful For. “Be Thankful – Be Grateful” will debut on Disney Junior, DisneyNOW, and YouTube on Nov. 7.

Later this month, Holiday Hill Farm’s newest book, Spookley and the Christmas Kittens ($9.95) will hit shelves exclusively at Barnes & Noble. This book tells the story, in verse, of the 45-minute animated holiday special “Spookley and the Christmas Kittens,” that airs annually on Disney Junior and Netflix. It features illustrations from the animated special and delivers a heartwarming message about the power of kindness and friendship.

To celebrate these launches, Spookley will make plenty of appearances at events across the country during the next two months. Spookley will continue his appearances at Sesame Place Philadelphia’s “Halloween Spooktacular” through Nov. 5 before making his first appearance at the Mall of America (MoA) in Bloomington, Minnesota in the days leading up to Thanksgiving. Spookley will also greet fans at different Barnes & Noble stores and schools across the country and participate in the Autism Speaks Walks in Austin, Los Angeles, and Miami.
