Kids can fight zombies as they go on quests to find the staff of doom in a new adventure video game from Outright Games, Atomic Cartoons, and development studio Stage Clear Studios.
Based on the Netflix cartoon series and best-selling book series The Last Kids on Earth, the anticipated new game will launch this summer on Nintendo Switch, Playstation, Xbox, and Steam.
In The Last Kids on Earth and the Staff of Doom, kids can play as series favorites Jack, Quint, June, and Drik as they journey to find the missing pieces of the powerful “Staff of Doom.” They will quest to fight Maldonre, the Queen of the Slime Monsters, to stop the destruction of their world. Players will have options to upgrade their armor as they cruise around in an apocalyptic pickup truck fighting monsters and defeating bosses.
The game will feature a 1-4-player offline co-op at launch, followed by an online co-op after release. The game will be available on June 4 for all systems for $39.99. Pre-orders are now open. In the meantime, kids can get excited with Jakks Pacific‘s line of The Last Kids on Earth toys, including the Last Kids On Earth — TreeHouse of Awesomeness Playset. Fight off the zombies by setting up traps and zip-lining into the battle with a Jack action figure included in the set.
