Toomies Peppa’s Boat Adventure Bath Set from TOMY is made for days when kids jump in mud puddles, but don’t want to get clean afterwards. It brings kids’ favorite characters into play — literally — with five squirting figures that look like Peppa Pig, George, Mummy Pig, Daddy Pig, and Grandpa Pig, plus two boats.
Kids can make a splash in a number of ways! The Pull & Go Paddle Boat features a string that kids can pull to make chug along. For kids who are big enough to use the whole bathtub, this is fun because they can make it move forward across the tub or spin it around in circles.
The set also includes Grandpa Pig’s Splash & Pour Boat, which comes apart to create four different ways to play. The boat becomes a pourer, sprinkler, a spout, and includes a water-powered paddle that sends a wheel spinning. This gets kids’ minds moving as they experiment with different ways to get water all over the bathroom. This set is made for ages 18 months and up, and I think this boat is the reason why. While an 18 month old may not care much for Peppa yet, no toddler can resist splashing and pouring water.
Each of these boats can fit two of the Peppa characters aboard. Kids can also let Peppa and her fam hang out on the bath ledge or dunk them underwater and let them bob to the surface.
Of course, the best thing about this bath bundle is that it’s Peppa Pig themed! There’s not a kid out there who doesn’t love the spunky swine — and if there is, they should watch some more episodes. The series is full of important messages and silly humor. And now, kids can bring a little of that into bath time.
