We see a lot of toys here at the Toy Insider, but one thing that continues to impress me on a regular basis is how baby and toddler toys have evolved.

This adorable little creature has a soft, plush head, feet, and tail wrapped around a solid body that harnesses the power to soothe little ones as they drift off to dreamland. It’s also a great companion toy for toddlers!
The Soothing Starlight Polar Bear projects beautiful stars onto the ceiling in four different colors — blue, orange, green, and red — while playing music, nursery rhymes, lullabies, and the soothing sounds of nature and a heartbeat. There are more than 30 melodies included, alongside seven different nursery rhymes. There’s even a combo mode that plays music with nature sounds in the background.
Parents will enjoy the 15-. 30-, and 45-minute shut-off timer and the “self soothe” function. This cute polar bear can actually detect your baby’s cries and will begin playing music to soothe it back to sleep.
While no toy can ever replace a parent or a loving grownup when it comes to providing a nurturing touch, it’s always good to have a little bit of help in the battle for a good night’s sleep — and the Lil’ Critters Soothing Starlight Polar Bear is a fine ally indeed!
