Two games are better than one, which is why kids will have double the fun with the 2-in-1 Musical Jump ‘N Toss from Fat Brain Toys.

This active toy centers around a musical ladybug that spins 360 degrees. The set includes colorful portions of plastic tubes that parents can set up as a jumping game or a spinning ring toss game. The poles fit together snugly with no tools required, taking less than two minutes to transform the toy from one game to the other.

For the jumping game, parents can assemble the tubes into horizontal poles that will attach to the top of the ladybug and spin around in circles. Kids can hop over the poles as they rotate, similar to jumping rope. There are three adjustable heights and two different spinning speeds (constant and accelerating) so parents can adjust the set-up based on their kids’ abilities. Designed for kids ages 4 and up, the speeds are fairly slow so kids shouldn’t have any trouble keeping up.

For the ring toss game, parents can disconnect the tubes and insert them into the holes on the ladybug’s back. The set includes 12 lightweight rings that kids can toss to land them around the poles. It’s a bit more high-tech than a basic ring toss set because the target not only spins, but also plays music for an instant backyard party.

Kids can also take it indoors if the weather doesn’t hold up, as long as parents make space for all the jumping around. This two-in-one toy will encourage kids to get active, as well as honing their coordination and gross motor skills.

Summer fun is just a hop, skip, and a jump away!
