Believe it, Naruto fans! More than a decade since the original Naruto Collectible Card Game ended, the shonen is back for a showdown.
Bandai Card Games has officially unveiled the Naruto Card Game, a new strategy-focused trading card game (TCG) based on Masashi Kishimoto’s iconic anime and manga franchise. The game will launch worldwide in 2027, but luckily, families won’t have to wait that long to get a first look.Â
The Naruto Card Game will make its world debut at Gen Con 2026, the largest and longest-running tabletop gaming convention in North America. Throughout the weekend, players of all ages can participate in the TCG’s first-ever tutorial sessions, where they’ll learn the basics of the game, play through demo rounds, and be among the first to actually experience the TCG before it hits shelves next year.

With their tutorial session ticket, fans will also receive a free gift set, complete with a Gen Con-exclusive Chakra Card promo, a special backpack, a sticker, and a redeemable ticket for an official Naruto Card Game playmat arriving next year. Families can secure a seat in the sessions as early as June 21 on Gen Con’s website.Â
If you can’t make it to a tutorial event, don’t worry! Attendees can also stop by the Bandai Card Games booth (No. 605) for the chance to score a backpack and sticker, while supplies last.Â
More details about the gameplay, card designs, and the game’s future roadmap will be revealed July 29, just ahead of Gen Con. For more information about the convention and to grab a badge, visit gencon.com.
