Get ready: The new class of Next-Gen Creators has arrived, and leading the charge is Diana AKA The Princess of Play!
Following the first wave of toys inspired by pocket.watch‘s Love, Diana — a YouTube channel with more than 1.5 billion views as of this writing — that hit Walmart for the holidays, the second batch is dropping in January courtesy of Far Out Toys.
The Toy Insider got an early look at the new collection (perhaps you saw it on Instagram?) that brings characters from Diana’s playful videos into two distinct scales of dolls and figures for maximum fun!
Walmart will be the first to debut the 2.5-inch Princess of Play collection. These are detailed, nonarticulated figurines that kids can collect for play or display. Wave one includes 10 different figures that kids can discover within blind-packed, stackable ice cream scoop display domes. Additionally, multipacks such as Diana’s Birthday Bash extend the fun with exclusive figures and accessories. Kids will enjoy hours of imaginative play with Diana, Roma, and their mom and dad along with colorful accessories for the perfect pretend party!
For kids that prefer dolls to figures, the Love, Diana Fashion Fabulous line will debut first at Target. The scented, 3.5-inch scale dolls come in a variety of different configurations, including ice cream cone blind packs and pet packs. Kids can discover 10 different dolls and 10 different pets to collect in the first wave.
Fashion Fabulous playsets are also available, including the Pet Grooming — Cotton Candy Cart Pop-Up Shop for all of Diana’s canine and feline friends, and a Taco/Ice Cream Truck Pop-Up Shop, which is practically essential because even pretend kids need to eat. And word on the street is that even more playsets are on the way!
As we turn the page into a new year, it’s always exciting to start seeing some new toys. For the Love, Diana fans in the house, it might be worth holding onto some of those holiday gift cards in hopes of scoring some of these fun new dolls and collectible figures to start the new year with a new collection!
