Given half the country has been pelted with inclement winter weather the past week or so, toys and games for snow days are taking the spotlight. These snow tubes offer the classic fun of hitting the slopes (even if those slopes are your local sledding hills). There are three tubes to choose from in the BigMouth x Squishmallows line: orange-pink Fifi the Fox, mythical Benny the Bigfoot, and cute and cozy Winston the Owl. 

Each snow tube features two sturdy handles, an inlay seat (bonus points for comfort), and packs away into a tidy, small size for traveling convenience. The tubes are designed for kids ages 8 and up, and cost just under $40 apiece. 

The main attraction here is obviously the adorable Squishmallows designs. The iconic plush transform wonderfully into snow tubes without compromising on the integrity of the characters. The size is commendable as well, and the under-$40 price point is reasonable for the sturdy quality. 

The one drawback here is the included pump. Although it’s a thoughtful touch to include a pump, it is not the most reliable tool. We’d recommend investing in your own pump (there are super affordable ones available on Amazon) so no snow-day-fun accidentally gets spoiled and you can inflate the tubes fast and with ease. Otherwise, this is a sound investment for those in snow-prone areas with Squishmallows-loving little ones, or for an upcoming vacation.   

The bleak months of January and February need not look so bad now that kids can bring their love for Squishmallows to the great outdoors!
