April showers bring … more cartoons?

They sure do! Cartoon Network has a packed schedule for the month ahead. April starts off with an all-day marathon of Apple & Onion, airing on April 1 from 6 a.m.-8 p.m. After that, kids can expect all of their favorite shows on Saturday mornings. Check out the highlights below.

Saturday, April 4

10 a.m.: Teen Titans Go!

When the Titans’ favorite cartoon is rebooted, they hatch a plan to get the new series off of the air — a premise that is funny for the whole family when you realize this episode precedes a new episode of the reboot of ThunderCats, titled ThunderCats Roar.

Saturday, April 11

9:30 a.m.: Apple & Onion

The first half of the 30-minute timeslot kicks off with “Floored,” in which Apple and Onion get stuck under their floorboards and must find a way out. In “Election Day,” Apple runs for mayor, and Isiah Whitlock Jr.(The Wire) guest voice acts as Mayor Naise.

Saturday, April 18

9 a.m.: Craig of the Creek

The first of 20 new Craig of the Creek episodes will premiere on April 18, and the series will continue every Saturday throughout May and June. The first half of the first episode features Craig and his sister attempting to run the daycare at the creek. In the second half, Craig and his friends smuggle candy to kids in need.

Saturday, April 25

10:30 a.m: ThunderCats Roar

Panthro meets a new friend who just so happens to be the queen of bats, and Jackalman believes he’s a cat in the two, 15-minutes halves of the latest episode.

Sunday Premieres

On Sundays, Cartoon Network will show new episodes of Bakugan Battle Planet at 6:30 a.m., Ben 10 at 10 a.m., DC SuperHero Girls at 4 p.m., and Unkitty! at 4:30 p.m.
