Magical Dreams Come True for Disney’s ‘Wonder of Princess’ Month

Wish upon a star for new Disney Princess goodies!

Kids can don their favorite dress, pick up a new princess friend, and head to the ball for Disney’s “Wonder of Princess” celebration, a part the ongoing Disney100 celebrations. This month is all about Disney Princesses. Disney is collaborating with a number of companies to give kids new princess outfits, dolls, and activities that honor the royalty of everyone’s favorite Disney Princesses. The month-long celebration starts now and brings magic that only a fairy godmother could provide.

Any good Disney event will feature a treasure trove full of toys and other merch, and this is no exception. We already told you about the exciting new collaboration with American Girl, but that’s not all that’s coming! Kids can get new Disney Story Dolls from shopDisney to play out their favorite tales from the iconic movies. In addition to American Girl, Mattel is bringing a huge collection of new toys to the table, including Color Reveal dolls and Story Stacker playsets. JAKKS Pacific has an interactive play kitchen and role-play dresses, so kids will have everything they need for a princess-themed restaurant.

Speaking of restaurants, the Disney Princess Tea Parties cookbook will give kids some actual recipes to try. The book includes 50 kid-friendly recipes that are easy to follow and are perfect for the fanciest of royal tea parties. For more little book-lover goods, A Twisted Tale Anthology has 16 short stories that include twists on classic Disney films. What would happen if Snow White learned magic or if Remy the rat met Colette before Linguini? Finally, A Disney Princess Journey Through History takes kids around the world to see the true history that inspired their favorite stories. These books are just a small sample of what’s to come, so readers are sure to have enough to fill their castle libraries.

LEGO and Disney are also teaming up for a brand-new adventure. In the LEGO Disney Princess: The Castle Quest special, favorite princesses Tiana, Moana, Snow White, Rapunzel, and Ariel will need to work together to find their way out of a mysterious castle. The special will premiere on Disney+ on Aug. 18. Kids who fall in love with the special can even get a LEGO set of the Ultimate Adventure Castle to experience the adventure themselves, one of many LEGO sets featuring the princesses.

Kids can practice more mindfulness with the Disney Princess of their choice using the Calm app. Disney and Calm have teamed up to provide three sleep stories, five meditations, and six soundscapes featuring Disney Princesses.

Disney games will also receive new princess-themed content for the month’s celebration. Disney Dreamlight Valley will welcome Belle, Disney Speedstorm is getting a new racer in Jasmine, Minecraft Disney Worlds of Adventure will add princess updates, and Disney Emoji Blitz will feature new rare princess emojis for kids to collect.

Little princesses have never had more to look forward to thanks to Wonder of Princess month! Kids can keep their eyes open for more celebrations and new goodies as Disney releases even more toys and merch to celebrate its 100th anniversary.
