The future of our planet lies in the next generation’s hands. Earth Rangers, the largest youth conservation organization in the world, now offers the free Earth Rangers app for the U.S. The app makes it easy and enjoyable for kids to learn about nature conservation and discover ways to help. The app teaches kids how to reduce food waste, organize shoreline cleanups, and plant pollinator gardens.

Earth Rangers began in Canada in 2004 and has since grown to nearly 350,000 members of young conservationists. At a time when many feel powerless and anxious about the environment, the Earth Rangers charity teaches kids and families across the country how they can have a genuine and positive impact on nature and their communities. Earth Rangers support a positive outlook of the future through achievable actions. The U.S. launch of the app promises to increase the potential for new members, inspiring more kids and families to take control of their environmental future.

The app features fun and competitive community challenges. Each of these environmental missions offers more incentive to play through the rewards of virtual badges, points, and more. Members can track their progress against others on the Earth Rangers leaderboard.

Animal-loving kids will adore being able to virtually adopt a variety of species such as polar bears or red pandas for a small fee. Kids can show off their new animal family member with a snuggly stuffed animal and an adoption certificate.

Then, they will receive a free membership card and a welcome package. Earth Rangers is also an important educational resource, featuring thousands of hours of educational videos, articles, animal facts, and podcasts.

The Earth Rangers app is available to download on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store for free. Visit the Earth Rangers site to learn more.
