WHAT IT IS
Little listeners can discover new music with Mattel‘s Fisher-Price Barbie Record Player. The working Barbie-themed turntable comes with five double-sided play records featuring 20 songs, accompanying decorative sleeves, and a record rack. Kids simply select a record, place it on the turntable, and move the record player’s arm onto the groove. The record will spin and play beloved Barbie music, just like a real record player!
WHY WE LOVE IT
This Fisher-Price set showcases a variation of music from the Barbie universe, including full-length songs from The Barbie Band, Barbie: a Touch of Magic, Barbie Dreamhouse Adventures & More, Barbie Mermaid Power, and Barbie Dance Hits. Each record will introduce a different musical style to young listeners.
Littles can roleplay and mimic actions they might see with real vinyl players by selecting a record, sliding it out of its sleeve, placing it on the player, and cranking up their own tunes. The record player arm is easy to lift and place onto a record — kids will feel a sense of accomplishment after playing music on their own! Kids can also strengthen gross motor skills as they dance around to the Barbie beats.
IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW
Families can just turn the knob to adjust the volume. Adults should note that the set only plays the included records.
PERFECT FOR
