UNICEF and Outright Games have partnered to raise funds for kids in need.
Outright Games will sell a bundle of its video games from some of DreamWorks’ top franchises, with all the profits going to UNICEF. Some of UNICEF’s initiatives include immunizing kids and supporting child nutrition, water safety, education, and more.
The bundle will be available for digital purchase Aug. 25 to Sept. 10 and includes games inspired by the DreamWorks Animation films, series, and franchises How to Train Your Dragon, Spirit, and Trollhunters: Tales of Arcadia.
Based on the 2021 film Spirit Untamed, Spirit Lucky’s Big Adventure allows players to take on the role of Lucky and her faithful mustang, Spirit, and head out on a treasure-hunting adventure alongside her best friends Abigail and Pru. Dragons: Dawn of New Riders is set in the How to Train your Dragon universe, and takes players to the skies as they battle against Eir, who is determined to make Dragons do her evil bidding. The last game in the bundle is Trollhunters: Defenders of Arcadia, a game inspired by the series from Academy Award-winner Guillermo del Toro. This new story takes place during the same time period as the animated series, and allows kids to stand up against evil forces and halt the Time-pocalypse.
The bundle, which costs $19.99, can be purchased for various gaming platforms, such as PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch.
This is the latest initiative as part of an ongoing partnership between Outright Games and UNICEF. The joint company goal is to achieve their year-long fundraising goal of $250,000.
