Sanrio is giving kids a new dose of adorable characters this summer. The company is launching a new animated series on its YouTube channel to celebrate Kuromi, one of Hello Kitty’s best friends!
In Kuromi’s Pretty Journey, Kuromi sets out to search for her big sister, Romina, who is making her debut in the series. Kuromi gets a photo of Romina, who went missing when Kuromi was little, in the mail, so she and her sidekick Baku hit the road. Throughout their journey, Kuromi and Baku meet new friends, face off against evil, and even find Romina living in the human world!

The series launched earlier this year in Japan and debuted in the U.S. on June 27 with three episodes. Since then, a new episode of the 21-episode series has come out every week on Tuesdays. Each new episode is around two minutes long.
