LEGO CON is back!

The return of the convention brings another stellar show featuring LEGO set reveals, special guests, exclusive news, and behind-the-scenes access. Families can tune in to the live show on LEGO’s YouTube Channel on June 18. In the meantime, LEGO is offering a variety of free activities for kids who love to build, create, and innovate.

The best way for kids to get involved is by installing the free LEGO Life app. In this free social media app, kids can build their own LEGO avatar, discover new building tips, make friends with other young LEGO creators, watch videos, and more. Parents who sign up for a free LEGO VIP account can access free building instructions so kids can create a personalized LEGO brick bin. Kids can also build a mini LEGO excavator by downloading free, 5-minute build instructions

For kids who own pullback model cars, they can install the free Augmented Reality (AR) Experience app to test out their ride. With the app, kids can select a race and a track. Then, they can pull back their car to wind it up and let it go. The app records the car’s speed and challenges kids to beat their own records.

Kids can also learn to drift, test their speed, and collect studs in the LEGO Speed Champions mobile game. LEGO offers a variety of other free online games as well, including LEGO Star Wars Battle Run, Bits and Bricks, and LEGO City Builder
