Get ready to rock and roll on uneven or rough terrain with WeCool Toys’ LumiTek R/C Neon Monster truck.
With four-wheel drive and all-terrain tires, kids ages 8 and up can take a cruise around the backyard or pop wheelies on the driveway — all in bright neon style with remote-controlled light piping featured prominently on the truck’s body.
Kids have the choice of customizing their truck with flame decals and the more than 18 feet of light piping that comes with the truck. Two colors are included, along with the plugs and pins needed to secure the piping to the vehicle’s body. A removable body and pre-drilled holes help with threading the lights around the toy, but an adult should help finish connecting the battery pack to the lights.
Make sure to take this truck out of the packaging and plug it into a USB charger before giving it to kids, as it takes four hours to fully charge. Using the included screwdriver, open the battery storage and carefully connect the wire to the provided USB charging cord. The wall charger isn’t included with the toy, so you can plug it into a computer or use one you have lying around. You’ll also need to grab two AA batteries for the remote controller, as those aren’t supplied.
Once fully charged and ready for action, playtime lasts about 20-25 minutes. The steering is easy to understand after trying the controls for only a few minutes and the lighting turns on and changes patterns with the simple click of a button. While this truck surely isn’t Grave Digger, it’s a rough-and-tumble vehicle perfect for outdoor exploring.
