Yoto is pressing play on its biggest upgrade yet. The audio brand has unveiled the fourth-generation versions of its Yoto Player and Yoto Mini with new functions, features, and accessories for fun at full volume.
The highlight of both new players is the Green Button, a new customizable control that gives kids instant access to all their favorite audios — no Yoto card required. Grownups can use the Yoto App to assign up to 20 stories, songs, podcasts, timers, soundscapes, and other repeat requests to the button, which kids can sift through with a simple twist-and-press. It can also link to digital-only audios, on top of kids’ existing library of physical cards.
The fourth-gen players can even serve as the soundtrack for families’ daily rhythm. Families can create separate Green Button playlists for mornings and evenings and schedule them to automatically change throughout the day. That means the same audio player can queue up an educational podcast or a playful pop song in the morning, then switch to bedtime stories, sleep sounds, and soothing night-light colors in the evening.
Both devices also received a major hardware refresh, including an upgraded processor, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 6.1 compatibility, and 64GB of storage — enough for more than 1,000 hours of audio. The full-size Yoto Player features a redesigned night light panel with adjustable brightness and wireless charging, while the Yoto Mini is now dust- and water-resistant, so no tumbles get in the way of the tunes.
Each fourth-gen player comes with a free digital Yoto Originals card, as well as a physical Make Your Own Card and stickers. Kids can also personalize their players with an updated line of accessories, including four new colors of Adventure Jackets, wrist lanyards, and a revamped travel case that now fits both versions of the Yoto Mini, with plenty of room to spare for over-ear headphones and up to 30 Yoto cards.
Families can pre-order both fourth-gen players now online. The Yoto Mini is slated to begin shipping Sept. 30, followed by the full-size Yoto Player on Oct. 15. To learn more, visit yotoplay.com.
