Toot toot! Thomas the Tank Engine and his friends are chugging through!

That’s right, Thomas & Friends is back on the small screen! Mattel Television’s Thomas & Friends: All Engines Go dropped its trailer this week, featuring the little engine himself — and his fellow trains — with a new visual style.

This new animated kids’ series will follow Thomas as he plays, enjoys being a kid, and strives to be the Number One Tank Engine through trial and error. Each episode will have specific themes that include Thomas facing his deepest fears, figuring out how to be resourceful, and learning that he doesn’t always have to solve problems alone.

But that’s not all! Thomas is also coming to the podcast scene with Thomas & Friends: Storytime Podcast. Featuring stories from the renowned Island of Sodor, the podcast featuring origin stories of favorite Thomas & Friends characters, magical fairy tales, and more. The podcast is targeted toward a preschool audience and is paced by a narrator who helps paint vivid illustrations of Thomas’ world.
