Zuubudeez 1

Goal: $30,000
Funding Period: Until August 26
Creator: Lea Abouriche

There’s a new way for kids to enjoy their food, and for parents to stop getting stressed about them being easily distracted. Zuubudeez makes meal time much more fun for both babies and parents.

Zuubudeez are 3-D animal spoons that look like toys, and will keep kids entertained as they eat their meals. These easy grip spoons are made of Polypropylene, which makes them BPA-free, BPS-free, PVC-free, and Phthalates-free. Each spoon features an animal that uses one of its key parts as a spoon. For example, the elephant Zuubudeez uses its trunk as the spoon, while the snake uses its tail.

Zuubudeez came about when 13-year-old Lea witnessed the problems associated with feeding children of all ages. With funding, the Zuubudeez team will redesign CAD’s for flawless manufacturing, create injection molding for all 11 spoon designs, complete the first round of manufacturing for all 11 spoon designs, and finalize all packaging and designs.

Kickstarter donations range from $1 to $105 and prizes include a virtual high five and the whole set of 11 spoons. If the campaign reaches its $30,000 stretch goal, then kids will have much more fun during meal times.
