Snap Ships Tactics Combines Fun of Board Games with Construction

Snap Ships, the versatile building system that allows kids to construct their own ship models, has been turned into a board game.

The tabletop game Snap Ships Tactics is heading to retail after raising nearly $300,000 on a Kickstarter campaign. Tactics features the brand’s signature fully customizable ship models that assemble using a unique connection system. The game offers players a chance to defend humanity amid interstellar warfare while crafting custom ships from a library of hundreds of modular parts. 

This entry level set is designed for 1-2 players ages 14 and up, who will enjoy the perfect gateway miniatures game with no glue or snipping required. Players can choose from versus, solo, and co-op game modes as they build their squadron and battle across a configurable play space. Tactics is an expandable miniatures system, meaning that adding additional ship kits allows bigger battles (up to 4v4 and co-op play) and more unique ship parts to mix and match together.

Snap Ships Tactics is available on the shelves at many brick and mortar stores around the United States and will be available on Amazon on Sept. 15 for $79.99.
